This privacy policy applies to the Sunlight Eye Care app (hereby referred to as "Application") for mobile devices that was created by Sunlight Eye Care Team (hereby referred to as "Service Provider") as a Free service. This service is intended for use "AS IS".

1. Information Collection and Use

This Application does not collect any data. Sunlight Eye Care Team (the Service Provider) does not capture, upload, store, or transmit your personal data to the Service Provider's servers or any remote systems under our control; does not log your IP address, in-app browsing trails, device identifiers, or operating system information for our centralized data processing.

Information you create in the Application—including eye-care goals, reminders, outdoor places, habits, and statistics—stays on your device and, when you enable related features, may be handled by Apple (for example iCloud) under Apple's terms and privacy policy; it is not remotely obtained or aggregated by the Service Provider.

Light Meter, ambient-light-related features, and similar capabilities run entirely on-device. Camera frames and sensor readings are not sent back to us and are not used for our remote analytics.

2. How We Use Information

Because the Service Provider does not collect any user data, we do not use your information for remote analytics, profiling, marketing, or data-driven product improvement on our side. Processing needed for features is limited to local operation on your device to support recording, reminders, and statistics you choose to use.

3. Third-Party Access

There is no third-party access for this Application from the Service Provider's perspective. We do not sell, rent, share, or otherwise provide your personal information to any third party; we do not grant third parties access to your data through this Application.

The Application does not integrate advertising, analytics, or other SDKs that transmit personal data to third-party servers for our purposes. If this ever changes, we will update this policy and obtain consent where required.

4. Data Storage and Security

  • Your data is stored on your local device
  • When your device is signed in to iCloud and iCloud access is enabled for this app, data may sync through iCloud under Apple's control
  • The Service Provider does not maintain a remote copy of your Application data; general security practices for any limited support communications are described on our support channels if needed

5. Opt-Out Rights

You may stop using or uninstall the Application at any time. Uninstalling removes local app data according to your device's rules. There is no separate "opt-out" from Service Provider remote collection because we do not perform such collection for this Application.

6. Data Retention Policy

The Service Provider does not hold remote copies of your Application data, so there is no Service Provider-side "retention period" for personal data from the app. Retention on your device and in iCloud follows Apple and your settings. 7. Children

The Service Provider does not use the Application to knowingly solicit data from or market to children under the age of 13.

The Application does not address anyone under the age of 13. The Service Provider does not knowingly collect personal information from children through this Application. Because we do not operate remote collection, if you are a parent or guardian with concerns, please contact the Service Provider through https://www.sunlightapps.com/supports so we can assist with this policy.

8. Data Sharing

We do not collect remote personal information and do not sell, rent, or otherwise provide your personal information to any third parties for this Application.

9. Your Rights

Where applicable law permits, you may manage data stored locally through your device settings. Because the Service Provider does not maintain remote copies of Application data, requests to export or delete "data on our servers" from the app generally do not apply; contact https://www.sunlightapps.com/supports with questions.

10. Changes

This Privacy Policy may be updated from time to time for any reason. The Service Provider will notify you of any changes to the Privacy Policy by updating this page with the new Privacy Policy. You are advised to consult this Privacy Policy regularly for any changes, as continued use is deemed approval of all changes.

11. Your Consent

By using the Application, you acknowledge that you have read this Privacy Policy. This policy is framed around no remote data collection by the Service Provider and no third-party access as described above.
